SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER

The Cumberland County District Attorney’s understands that law enforcement is not going to solve the problems of substance use disorders on its own. Given that, we recognize that it is vital for the District Attorney’s Office and law enforcement to partner with strategic partners who will assist us in our fight to save lives.  The first step is education and prevention.

We also understand that education and prevention only addresses one side of the issue and that it’s necessary to help the people who are already suffering from substance use disorders, and embrace those people in recovery.
